When deciding what image to use for my latest project in printmaking I decided to illustrate how I was feeling at the time, which was slightly nostalgic, a bit sad, a bit away with the fairies. I drew out my own version of a painting of Micci Cohen's and added my own quote 'leave me alone nostalgia' and a background which was roses. I'm pleased with the final piece and the idea.
It links well to the project brief which is Narrative because its tells the story of how I was feeling at the time of creating the image. I think the whole image and quote works well together to tell my story effectively.
This is the picture that inspired me to do the image I made.
